Similar to a filling, inlays and Onlays are made from porcelain or gold, which are bonded directly to the teeth. These materials are much stronger than traditional blended-metal fillings and can help prevent further decay or damage to your tooth.
Once the old fillings are removed, Dr. Lewandowski takes an impression of your teeth, which is sent to a dental lab for construction. Once created, Dr. Lewandowski will check for proper fit, then bond or cement the Onlay or Inlay to your tooth.
